Personal statement
This is a role page. Pediatric content on this site (age-indicated OTC products, long-term growth-velocity framing, pediatric spray technique, and the new 13–17 adolescent eligibility for Allermi in 39 US states) is reviewed by an editorial pool of board-certified pediatrician contributors.
The binding medical authority for pediatric claims is the published guideline literature: AAP rhinitis guidance, Schenkel et al. (intranasal corticosteroid growth-velocity in children, 2000), Skoner et al. (mometasone pediatric growth-velocity, 2015), Mener et al. (pediatric INCS meta-analysis), and the FDA labels surfaced via DailyMed for each individual product. Those are the citations on the page; the editorial pool's role is to confirm that pediatric dosing tables match DailyMed exactly, that age indications are correctly cited, and that the growth-velocity framing is faithful to the source data.
Allermi is not prescribed for children under 13 on this site. As of April 2026, Allermi is now eligible for adolescents 13–17 in 39 US states, and the [kids page](/demographic/kids/) reflects that change.
